In the administration interface (back office)
  • Buyers > Options 
    • Particular group assignment
      If you set a particular group assignment (a group which differs from the default group), each new buyer account will be, as soon as created, automatically assigned to that particular group and, after logging in, will use all the parameters of his particular group.

      You can use this option for marketing campaigns if you want to show automatically to the new visitors who register on your selling module the products that you offer at special conditions or that you want to promote.
In this context read Newsletter #13 which explains how to show/hide products to a buyer according to the group he belongs.
