Buyers succinct identification mode.
Newsletter # 26

The following section was revised.

In the administration interface (back office)

  • Stores

    A new parameters was added.

    • Identification mode
In each store, you have the choice between three options to set the identification mode of the visitors of the corresponding selling module.

      1. By connecting a buyer account.
The visitor of the module must connect its buyer account to be identified. If he has no buyer account, he will create one.
      2. By providing an e-mail address.
The buyer should only provide an e-mail to confirm an order. His order will be automatically assigned to the anonymous buyer account.
This simplified procedure will be used if the buyer does not need to be identified but must still receive a printable order by e-mail.
      3. No identification.
The order is confirmed without providing further information. The order is also attributed to the anonymous buyer account.
This last option allows a seller to use a selling module as a point of sales (POS) terminal.

Warning! It is impossible to select option 2. or 3. if you did not previously designate an anonymous buyer account. To designate an anonymous buyer account, go to the Buyers section, create or select a buyer account, click Change > State and check the Anonymous buyer checkbox.
